VIDA VX2 launched in India know the price features
The VIDA VX2 launched in India know the price features on 1st July 2025 by Hero MotoCorp. The launch was also a tribute to Dr. BML Munjal on his 102nd birth anniversary. The VIDA VX2 is available in attractive monotone colors, with Matte Yellow emerging as the most popular option that truly makes it stand out in the crowd.

VIDA VX2 Battery And Variants:
VIDA VX2 has been launched in two different variants: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus, allowing customers to choose as per their needs and budget. The VX2 Go is powered by a 2.2 kWh swappable lithium-ion battery that offers an IDC range of about 92 km. The VX2 Plus variant gets a 3.4 kWh dual battery pack that offers a range of up to 142 km. Both variants use PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor), which ensures better power efficiency and smooth performance. Another big feature is that the VIDA VX2 is one of the first scooters in India to support the battery as a service (BAAS) model; i.e., customers can get the battery on subscription instead of buying it outright.
What is BAAS?
Battery as a service (BAAS) is a new and revolutionary facility introduced with the VIDA VX2 scooter. Under this model, customers can rent the scooter’s battery instead of buying it; that is, they get the right to own an electric scooter without investing heavily in the battery. This model is very beneficial for customers who want a smart EV option on a low budget.
With the help of BAAS, the price of both variants, the VIDA VX2 Go and the VX2 Plus, comes down, and without a subscription, the price goes up. In this subscription model, customers can swap batteries at Vida’s battery exchange stations; thus, they do not have to worry about charging, and downtime is also reduced. This facility can prove to be a big change for urban commuters, especially.

VIDA VX2 Features And Technology:
The VIDA VX2 is packed with smart features and technologies that make it a modern and connected electric scooter. The two variants of the VX2 Go and Plus both feature a 4.3-inch display screen; the Go gets a simple LCD display, while the Plus variant gets a color TFT display that includes riding modes like Eco, Ride, and Sport. The scooter can be connected to a smartphone, allowing ride data, navigation, and location tracking.
Additionally, the scooter’s software capabilities can be upgraded from time to time via OTA (over-the-air) updates. Features like remote immobilization (locking the scooter), charging status, and route history are also available via the VIDA app. All these technology features make the VIDA VX2 not just a transport option but a fully connected smart mobility solution.

This scooter includes features like smart connectivity, riding modes, remote immobilization, cloud connectivity, and OTA updates. Apart from this, VIDA has more than 3,600 charging points and more than 500 sales and service centers in India, which provides a better experience to the customers.
VIDA VX2 Price Of Variants:
The VIDA VX2 is offered in two variants: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus. They are priced starting at ₹59,490 (with BAAS) and ₹64,990 (without BaaS). Under the BAAS (Battery-as-a-Service) model, customers can rent the battery, which reduces the starting price of the scooter. Without BAAS, the VX2 Go is priced at ₹99,490, and the VX2 Plus is priced at ₹109,990.
